Triathlon

Aug 2nd/3rd, 1359 squadron joined with two other Squadrons (504 & 1936) to help staff the yearly triathlon at Holme Pierpont. The event takes place over the whole weekend and the cadets enjoy camping there over night. During the day the cadets are split up into small groups of 3 or 4 and placed at different stations. These include handing out water to the runners, showing the athletes and supporters where to go, and clearing up after. Although both the days were hard work, they get the chance to relax, socialise and have fun back at the camp site with a BBQ. We think that this a excellent way for the cadets to mix with other squadrons and get to know more people. All the cadets thoroughly enjoyed the weekend and cant wait to do it all again next year.
