Summer Camp - RAF Lossiemouth

On the 19th-26th of July 3 cadets went to summer camp at RAF Lossiemouth home of the Tornado, where they had many chances to do lots of fun and new exciting things. Such as going to many different sections of the station, like going to the control tower where one group got to see 2 Hawks, a Nimrod and a Sea King take off (the Hawks liked to show off in front of the cadets!)
The cadets also got to take a look around some Nimrods and a look at what they are made for, how they work and what it would be like to be in the Nimrod. During the week the cadets also got to see a flight simulator and sit in the cockpit of a Tornado, and one lucky cadet that is inspired to be a pilot in the RAF got to go in the simulator and fly in it.
We also got free time in the evenings to take part in many activities so we could socialize with each other, and we did things like going swimming, bowling, sport and ice-skating.  On Friday we all went to Inverness for the day. So all in all everybody enjoyed the week and we all made friends which made the week even better.
